Blowing bubbles in the sun, Rainbow faeries in each one, High above our heads they fly Shimmering against the sky; Bubbles we can see right through With an iridescent hue, Wafting where the tall flowers sprawl, Skimming up the garden wall; Lifting on the summer breeze, Dipping when they reach the trees, Rising high above the ground, Vanishing without a sound. When the moon comes up tonight And fills my room with silver light, Gleams that wink down from the sky Are just my bubbles floating by.
