When I go to sleep at night, In the dim and dusky light I see a faerie overhead Hovering above my Bed.

Her heavy clock of midnight blue Floated round her as she flew And deep within the folds it seems She keeps a place for all our dreams.

At dawn she flies on drowsy wings Leaving me a thousand things That fill my mind throughout the day With dreams she never takes away.
